About the Position

The school is seeking a passionate Health and Physical Education teacher to join the team from Term 1, 2026. The successful candidate will deliver engaging programs that promote student wellbeing, physical activity, and lifelong healthy habits across the secondary years. This role will suit an educator who enjoys active, hands-on teaching, values collaboration, and is committed to fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.

Skills and Responsibilities

  • Curriculum – Plan and deliver curriculum-aligned HPE lessons across secondary years

  • Safeguarding – Ensure student wellbeing and adhere to Child Safe Standards

  • Communication – Maintain professional communication with students, staff, and families

  • Collaboration – Work effectively with colleagues to support whole-school initiatives

  • Leadership – Model best practice and uphold the school’s values within and beyond the classroom

Requirements

  • Registration: Current QCT registration (or eligibility to obtain)

  • Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia

  • Safeguarding: Two current referees and completion of HARKE’s safeguarding process
