About the Position
This full-time, ongoing position, commencing in Term 2 or Term 3, involves teaching Health and Physical Education (HPE) to students across Years 7–12. The successful candidate will design and deliver engaging lessons that support students’ physical development and promote lifelong wellbeing, while also modelling Christian values within the learning environment.
Skills and Responsibilities

Develop and deliver engaging HPE lessons aligned to the Australian Curriculum for Years 7–12.

Promote student safety, wellbeing, and positive participation in physical activity.

Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues to support learning and wellbeing.

Collaborate with staff to support extracurricular sport and health initiatives across the school.

Model leadership and enthusiasm for physical education, fostering student confidence and teamwork.

Requirements
- Registration: Candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain QLD Teacher Registration.
- Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia are essential for this role.
- Safeguarding: Applicants must provide two current referees and complete HARKE’s onboarding process to meet safeguarding requirements.
