This full-time, permanent position, commencing in Term 2, 2025, is for a HPE Teacher with a focus on leading the school’s Sports Academy. The successful candidate will deliver curriculum-aligned Health and Physical Education lessons and manage the Sports Academy program, inspiring students to excel in sports, teamwork, and personal fitness.
Skills and Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver engaging HPE lessons, focusing on fitness, health, and well-being for secondary students.
- Lead and manage the Sports Academy program, specialising in AFL, Rugby League, and Basketball, fostering talent and encouraging skill development.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of students, adhering to safeguarding policies and best practices in sports and physical education.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues, creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with staff to support school-wide health, sports initiatives, and extracurricular activities.
- NT TRB registration or eligibility to obtain.
- At least 2 references from your most recent employers.
