About the Position
This role involves teaching Health and Physical Education within the secondary school in a full-time capacity commencing Term 3 2026. The successful teacher will deliver engaging practical and theory-based HPE lessons while supporting student participation across the school’s extensive sporting program. The role includes involvement in inter-house competitions and School Sport Victoria (SSV) programs, with opportunities to contribute to coaching, student engagement and the wider co-curricular life of the College.
Skills and Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Health and Physical Education lessons aligned with the Victorian Curriculum
- Support student participation, wellbeing and inclusion across practical sporting programs
- Communicate effectively with students, families and colleagues regarding learning and development
- Collaborate with colleagues to support inter-house and inter-school sporting programs
- Contribute positively to the wider school community, co-curricular activities and faculty initiatives
Requirements
Registration: Must hold or be eligible for VIT teacher registration
Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia
Safeguarding: Ability to provide referees and complete safeguarding requirements
