About the Position
This newly created position forms part of the school’s Curriculum Team and will focus on overseeing and coordinating the Year 7–12 academic program. The successful candidate will take responsibility for curriculum documentation and compliance, including ensuring robust VCAL programming and alignment. With a 10-period time release, the role includes 37 face-to-face teaching periods per 50-cycle. This role reports directly to the Director of Teaching and Learning and is an ideal opportunity for an experienced educator looking to progress toward senior leadership.
Skills and Responsibilities

Oversee Year 7–12 curriculum planning and implementation across all subject areas

Ensure VCAL documentation, delivery, and compliance are aligned with regulations

Collaborate with the Curriculum Team to enhance academic programs and pathways

Monitor and maintain consistency in curriculum documentation across all year levels

Provide instructional leadership and mentor classroom practice where required

Contribute to the school’s ongoing growth and development initiatives
Requirements

Registration: Candidates must hold or be eligible for registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT)

Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia are essential for this role
