About the Role

This leadership opportunity is suited to an experienced Learning Diversity teacher who is passionate about supporting students with diverse learning needs. Working closely with the Director of Learning Diversity, teaching staff, Learning Support Officers, families and allied health professionals, the successful candidate will lead inclusive practices, coordinate personalised learning supports and contribute to high-quality educational outcomes across the school.

Skills and Responsibilities

  • Lead and support Learning Support Officers while collaborating with teachers to implement learning adjustments and personalised learning plans.
  • Coordinate NCCD processes, including evidence collection, documentation and compliance requirements.
  • Support staff in developing differentiated curriculum, modified programs and assessment strategies.
  • Build strong partnerships with families, allied health professionals and external agencies to support student learning and wellbeing.
  • Promote an inclusive school culture through mentoring staff and contributing to continuous improvement in learning diversity practices.

Requirements

  • Registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT), or eligibility to obtain registration.
  • Full Australian work rights.
  • Ability to provide two professional referees and complete HARKE's safeguarding and compliance requirements.
