About the PositionThis leadership role provides strategic and operational oversight of Inclusive Education within the Senior School (Years 7–12). Working closely with the Director of Inclusive Education, the successful candidate will lead daily operations, oversee NCCD compliance and reporting, support Student Support Groups and Individual Education Plans, and guide staff in evidence-based interventions. The role includes a teaching component focused on targeted literacy and numeracy intervention, differentiation, and inclusive classroom practice. Staff are also required to contribute to the co-curricular program.
Skills and Responsibilities-
Lead and oversee Senior School (Y7-12) Inclusive Education programs, including IEPs, SSGs, NCCD processes, and intervention planning.

Ensure safe, inclusive and evidence-based learning environments that promote student wellbeing and academic growth.

Provide clear communication and partnership with students, families, teaching staff, and external providers.

Collaborate with Heads of House, Heads of Department and wellbeing teams to coordinate holistic student support.

Provide leadership, supervision and professional guidance to Inclusive Education staff and support officers.
- Registration: Must hold or be eligible for registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT).
- Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia are essential.
- Safeguarding: Applicants must provide two current referees and complete HARKE’s onboarding process in line with child safety requirements.
