About the Role

This is a key leadership position within the K–6 Primary School. As Head of Discipline, you will be responsible for maintaining a positive and productive learning environment by overseeing student behaviour, implementing disciplinary policies, and working closely with teachers, parents, and school leadership. You will play a central role in promoting a culture of responsibility, accountability, and fairness, while supporting the personal and academic development of every student.

Ideal Candidate

  • Demonstrated experience in a school leadership or student management role
  • Strong knowledge of student behaviour management, disciplinary policy, and educational compliance
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage staff, students, and families
  • Proven ability to implement proactive behaviour programs and intervention strategies
  • Experience providing professional development or coaching to teaching staff
  • Collaborative, fair, and consistent approach to discipline and student wellbeing
  • Current NESA teacher registration, or eligibility to obtain
