About the Role

An opportunity has become available for a Grade 6 Primary Teacher to join the Tarneit campus in Term 3, 2026 as a full-time maternity leave replacement. This position offers the opportunity to work with students during a significant stage of their primary education journey as they prepare for transition into secondary school.

The successful teacher will deliver engaging and differentiated learning programs, foster strong relationships with students and families, and contribute to a collaborative teaching team. The role includes Christian Studies; however, training and support will be provided, and applicants do not need to be Christian to apply.

Graduate teachers with full VIT registration are strongly encouraged to apply. The school offers a supportive environment with experienced colleagues, mentoring, and professional development opportunities to help early career teachers establish themselves successfully.

• Deliver engaging Grade 6 learning programs aligned with curriculum requirements

• Teach Christian Studies with support and professional learning provided

• Relevant teaching qualification
• Full Australian working rights

• Ability to support the Christian ethos of the school
• Two referees and completion of HARKE safeguarding onboarding
