About the School
HARKE has partnered with a growing Catholic primary school in Melbourne’s western suburbs, conveniently located within easy reach of North Melbourne with a smooth against-traffic commute. Since opening in 2010, the school has developed a strong reputation for its welcoming community, learner-centred approach, and commitment to Catholic education grounded in social justice values. With enrolments growing from 90 to more than 500 students, the school has invested significantly in modern learning environments, innovative programs, and staff development. Teachers are supported through a collaborative professional learning culture focused on literacy, numeracy, inquiry learning, Positive Behaviour for Learning, and workplace wellbeing. As an Apple Distinguished School, technology integration and future-focused learning are embedded across the curriculum.
About the Role
This opportunity is suited to a confident and capable Grade 6 teacher looking to join a highly collaborative and well-supported primary team. The class is described as settled, positive, and well-supported, including a small number of students requiring additional support through ADHD and ASD adjustments. The successful educator will bring a calm, consistent, and relationship-focused approach while contributing to an engaging inquiry-based curriculum and broader school community.
