About the Role

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Grade 5 Primary Teacher to join the Tarneit campus from Term 4, 2026. This full-time position will initially commence as a long service leave replacement before transitioning into an ongoing opportunity following the retirement of the current teacher.

The successful teacher will deliver engaging and differentiated learning programs, foster strong relationships with students and families, and contribute to a collaborative teaching team. The role includes Christian Studies; however, training and support will be provided, and applicants do not need to be Christian to apply.

Both experienced teachers and graduate teachers with full VIT registration are encouraged to apply.

• Deliver engaging Grade 5 learning programs aligned with curriculum requirements

• Teach Christian Studies with support and professional learning provided

Requirements

• Current VIT registration
• Relevant teaching qualification
• Full Australian working rights
• Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
• Ability to support the Christian ethos of the school
• Two referees and completion of HARKE safeguarding onboarding
