About the Role
This opportunity is suited to a confident and capable Grade 5 teacher looking to join a highly collaborative and well-supported primary team. Commencing with a structured handover at the end of Term 2 for a Term 3 start, the role offers the chance to work within a strong learning culture where teachers are encouraged to reflect, collaborate, and continually develop their practice. The successful educator will contribute to an engaging inquiry-based curriculum that supports students to think critically, question deeply, and develop as lifelong learners.
Skills and Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and differentiated learning experiences aligned with the Victorian Curriculum
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student wellbeing and growth
- Use inquiry-based and learner-centred approaches to develop critical thinking and collaboration skills
- Work collaboratively with colleagues through coaching, facilitated planning, and professional learning initiatives
- Build strong relationships with students, families, and the wider school community
Requirements
- Current or eligibility for VIT registration
- Full Australian working rights
- Commitment to supporting the Catholic ethos of the school
- Two professional referees and completion of HARKE’s safeguarding onboarding
