About the Position
This full-time, ongoing position commencing in Term 2, 2025, involves teaching Geography and HSIE subjects across Years 7–10, with some cross-curricular teaching in areas such as Human Wellbeing, Environmental Studies, and Food Technologies. The role also includes a Guardian/Wellbeing responsibility and contribution to the school’s vibrant co-curricular program. This is an excellent opportunity for a versatile and relational teacher who enjoys working across a range of subject areas in a progressive learning environment.

Skills and Responsibilities

  • Teach Geography and HSIE with a focus on inquiry-based, curriculum-aligned learning

  • Ensure student wellbeing through effective pastoral care and safeguarding practices

  • Communicate clearly and positively with students, families, and colleagues

  • Collaborate on cross-curricular initiatives and contribute to whole-school programs

  • Foster student engagement through inclusive, purposeful, and values-led teaching

Requirements
  • Candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain NESA accreditation

  • Full working rights in Australia are essential for this role

  • Applicants must provide two current referees and complete HARKE’s onboarding process to meet safeguarding requirements
