About the Role

This full-time, fixed-term leave replacement position commences in Term 3, 2026 and continues through to the end of the 2026 school year only. The role involves teaching Geography across Years 7-10, with no VCE teaching requirements.

The successful educator will join a well-supported Humanities faculty under the guidance of an experienced and collaborative Head of Department. This opportunity would suit a teacher seeking a supportive environment with strong curriculum structures, excellent resources, and engaged students.

Skills and Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging Geography lessons across Years 7-10
  • Plan, assess, and implement curriculum aligned with Victorian curriculum standards
  • Facilitate inquiry-based and fieldwork-focused learning experiences
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
  • Collaborate positively within the Humanities faculty and broader school community

Requirements

  • Current or eligibility for Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration
  • Experience teaching Secondary Humanities or Geography
  • Full Australian working rights
  • Ability to provide two professional referees
  • Completion of HARKE safeguarding and compliance onboarding requirements
