About the Position
The school is seeking a Geography Teacher for a full-time fixed-term position commencing Term 3, 2026 through to the end of Term 4, 2026. The role involves teaching Geography across Years 7-12 and suits an educator who can deliver engaging and academically focused lessons that develop students’ understanding of environmental, global, and human geography concepts.
Skills and Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging Geography curriculum aligned with syllabus requirements for Years 7-12
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student wellbeing and learning outcomes
- Communicate clearly with students, families, and colleagues
- Collaborate within the Humanities faculty and broader school teams
- Contribute to lesson planning, assessment, and co-curricular activities where required
Requirements
- Registration with or eligibility for NESA accreditation
- Full Australian working rights
- Two professional referees and completion of HARKE safeguarding onboarding
