About the Role
This full-time, 12-month contract position commencing Term 2, 2026 involves teaching French across Years 7–12. The successful teacher will deliver engaging and curriculum-aligned language lessons that support students’ communication skills and cultural understanding. Working within a collaborative faculty, the role offers the opportunity to contribute to a positive learning environment while supporting student engagement and academic progress.
Skills and Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality French language teaching aligned with the NSW curriculum
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment focused on student wellbeing
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding learning progress
- Collaborate with staff to develop engaging and differentiated language programs
- Contribute to faculty initiatives and broader school programs
Requirements
- Registration with or eligibility for NESA
- Full Australian work rights
- Two referees and completion of HARKE onboarding for safeguarding
