About the Position

This full-time, ongoing Foundation Teacher role commences in Term 3, 2026. The successful teacher will bring a minimum of three years’ classroom experience and a strong understanding of early years learning, inquiry-based teaching, and student-centred practice. The role suits a teacher who values collaboration, clear communication, and working within a faith-aligned school community.

Skills and Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned Foundation lessons using an inquiry-based approach.

  • Support student safety, wellbeing, and safeguarding in line with school expectations.

  • Communicate clearly with students, families, colleagues, and leadership.

  • Collaborate within a team-teaching model across Years 1–6 to support consistent learning outcomes.

  • Contribute positively to the school’s faith-aligned culture and professional learning environment.

Requirements

  • Registration: Candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain registration with the Northern Territory Teacher Registration Board.

  • Experience: Minimum three years’ classroom teaching experience required.

  • Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia are essential for this role.

  • Safeguarding: Applicants must provide two current referees and complete HARKE’s onboarding process to meet safeguarding requirements.
