About the Position

The school is seeking a full-time ongoing Food Technology Teacher to teach across secondary year levels, including the opportunity to work with senior secondary students.

Skills and Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Food Technology programs.
• Maintain high standards of student safety, food safety and wellbeing within practical learning spaces.
• Communicate effectively regarding student learning and progress.
• Collaborate with Technologies colleagues on curriculum, assessment and resource planning.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of practical Technologies programs.

Requirements

• Current VIT registration or eligibility.
• Relevant qualifications and capability to teach secondary Food Technology.
• Full Australian work rights.
• Two professional referees and completion of HARKE’s safeguarding onboarding.
