About the Position
This role involves teaching Food Technology on a full-time basis for the duration of Term 2. The successful candidate will deliver practical and engaging lessons, manage a safe and effective learning environment in kitchen settings, and contribute to a collaborative Technology faculty. This is a great short-term opportunity for a teacher who is organised, adaptable, and confident in delivering hands-on learning.

Skills and Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging Food Technology curriculum aligned with Victorian Curriculum requirements
  • Uphold safeguarding practices, particularly within practical learning environments
  • Communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and parents
  • Collaborate with faculty on planning and resource management
  • Contribute to a safe, organised, and positive learning environment

Requirements

  • Registration: Must hold or be eligible for VIT registration
  • Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia
  • Safeguarding: Provide two referees and complete compliance checks
