Salary: $82,647 – $130,568 + super (depending on experience and classification under the school’s Enterprise Agreement)

About the Position

The school is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Food Technology Teacher to join its secondary teaching team from Term 1 2026 . This permanent, full-time role involves teaching Food Technology across a range of secondary year levels, fostering creativity, independence, and practical life skills.

The position offers the opportunity to work within a modern, well-resourced department that values innovation and hands-on learning.


Skills and Responsibilities

  • Teach Food Technology across Years 7–12

  • Deliver engaging and practical lessons that build skills in nutrition, cooking, and food safety

  • Develop and implement curriculum plans aligned with the Australian Curriculum

  • Contribute to co-curricular activities and school community events

  • Participate in professional development and collaborative planning sessions


Requirements

  • Registration: Current QCT registration (or eligibility to obtain it)

  • Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia

  • Safeguarding: Willingness to provide 2–3 references and complete HARKE’s safeguarding process
