The school is seeking a passionate and skilled Food Technology and/or Hospitality Teacher to join its team from Term 1, 2026. The successful candidate will inspire students to develop practical skills, creativity, and confidence in the areas of food preparation, nutrition, and hospitality. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to engaging curriculum design and foster a learning environment that blends theory with real-world application.Skills and Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and hands-on lessons across Food Technology and/or Hospitality
- Inspire students to explore nutrition, food science, and the culinary arts
- Maintain safe and well-organised practical classrooms and kitchen spaces
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative programs and assessments
- Support student wellbeing and contribute to the broader school community
Requirements
- Registration: Current or eligibility for NESA registration
- Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia
- Demonstrated expertise and enthusiasm for teaching Food Technology and/or Hospitality
- Two current referees from recent employers
