About the Position

The school is seeking an English and Humanities Teacher for an ongoing position, with flexibility to offer either part-time or full-time employment. Experience across Years 7–12 is welcomed, and the capacity to teach VCE Legal Studies will be highly regarded. Skills and Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned English and Humanities lessons across Years 7–12, with capacity for VCE Legal Studies advantageous.

  • Support student wellbeing and learning through inclusive practice, differentiation, and adherence to safeguarding and behavioural policies.

  • Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues to support academic progress and positive outcomes.

  • Collaborate with faculty and leadership teams to strengthen curriculum delivery and whole-school initiatives.

  • Contribute to a positive staff culture and demonstrate leadership within the classroom and broader school community.


Requirements

  • Registration: Candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT).

  • Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia are essential for this role.

  • Safeguarding: Applicants must provide two current referees and complete HARKE’s onboarding process to meet safeguarding requirements.
