About the Position
This full-time, ongoing position involves teaching English and Humanities across Year 7-10, including Political Law. The successful applicant will deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons, contribute to a vibrant and inclusive school culture, and work closely with colleagues to support student outcomes.

Skills and Responsibilities

  • Deliver effective and engaging lessons in English and Humanities (Years 7–10)

  • Support student wellbeing and uphold safeguarding responsibilities

  • Communicate clearly and regularly with students, parents, and staff

  • Collaborate with the faculty to enhance curriculum and learning initiatives

  • Contribute to co-curricular and interdisciplinary learning where applicable

Requirements
  • Registration: Candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration.

  • Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia are essential for this role.

  • Safeguarding: Applicants must provide two current referees and complete HARKE’s onboarding process to meet safeguarding requirements.
