About the Position
The school is seeking a VCE English Teacher to commence in Term 1, 2026. This permanent ongoing role offers a unique daily structure, allowing teachers extended preparation and planning time in the mornings before classroom teaching begins.
Teaching schedule:- Workday: 9:30am – 5:15pm
- Classes begin: 12:45pm
- Morning sessions: Preparation, planning, and collaboration
Skills and Responsibilities

Teach English across Years 10–12, including VCE English

Deliver engaging lessons that foster literacy, analysis, and critical thinking

Use preparation time to develop resources and plan collaboratively

Build strong relationships with students, families, and staff

Contribute to co-curricular and enrichment programs
Requirements
- Registration: Current VIT registration (or eligibility)
- Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia
- Safeguarding: Two current referees and completion of HARKE’s safeguarding process
