About the Role
This full-time, fixed-term English Teacher position will cover Term 2 and Term 3, 2027 . The teaching load will primarily involve junior English through to Year 10 , with the possibility of some Year 11 English depending on the successful candidate's experience and strengths. The exact allocation can be discussed with the successful teacher, with the College focused on finding someone who can provide strong teaching and continuity for students across the two terms.
Skills and Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned English programs across junior secondary year levels, with the potential to teach Year 11.

Maintain high standards of student safeguarding, wellbeing and inclusive classroom practice.

Communicate effectively with students, families and colleagues regarding learning, assessment and student progress.

Collaborate with English colleagues to ensure curriculum continuity and consistent teaching practice throughout the contract.

Build positive relationships with students and contribute professionally to the College's Catholic community.
Requirements

Current VIT registration or eligibility for registration

Relevant secondary teaching qualifications with the ability to teach English through to Year 10

Capacity to teach Year 11 English is welcomed but not essential
