About the Role
This full-time, ongoing position commencing Term 3, 2026 involves teaching English across the secondary years. The successful teacher will deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons that develop students’ literacy, critical thinking, and communication skills. Skills and Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging English curriculum aligned with the Victorian Curriculum
- Maintain a safe, inclusive classroom environment that supports student wellbeing
- Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues regarding progress and outcomes
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan curriculum and improve student learning
- Contribute to faculty initiatives and the broader school community
Requirements
- Registration with or eligibility for VIT
- Full Australian work rights
- Two referees and completion of HARKE onboarding for safeguarding
