Skills and Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality English curriculum with a strong focus on senior secondary and VCE outcomes
- Maintain a structured, safe, and high-expectation classroom environment aligned to student wellbeing
- Communicate clearly with students, families, and colleagues on academic progress and expectations
- Collaborate with faculty to ensure consistency in curriculum delivery, assessment, and reporting
- Contribute to broader school expectations including pastoral care and co-curricular involvement
Requirements
- Registration with or eligibility for VIT
- Full Australian work rights
- Minimum 4–5 years teaching experience, including VCE experience
- Demonstrated track record of consistent employment and commitment to school communities
- Ability to deliver high-impact, structured lessons and participate in an observed teaching demonstration
- Strong understanding of assessment, reporting, and senior secondary requirements
- Statement of service required for salary assessment
- Two referees and completion of HARKE onboarding for safeguarding
