About the Position
This full-time, ongoing position involves teaching English across Years 7 to 10, with the opportunity to teach VCE English depending on experience. The role suits an educator who is passionate about literacy development, can deliver engaging and structured lessons, and is committed to achieving strong academic outcomes. Skills and Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality English curriculum across Years 7 to 10, with potential for VCE
- Maintain strong safeguarding practices and support student wellbeing
- Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues
- Collaborate with faculty to ensure consistency in curriculum delivery and student outcomes
- Demonstrate leadership in the classroom through structured and engaging teaching
- Registration with VIT or eligibility to obtain
- Full working rights in Australia
- Experience teaching secondary English, with capacity to contribute to senior levels advantageous
- Ability to provide two referees and complete HARKE’s onboarding process to meet safeguarding requirements
