This full-time, ongoing role will commence in July 2025 and initially involve teaching English to Years 7 to 9. From 2026, the role will expand to include English Language and Literature. The school is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable educator who can engage junior learners while progressively contributing to the senior English curriculum.
Skills and Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned English lessons for Years 7–9

Transition into teaching English Language and Literature from 2026

Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues

Participate actively in school-based professional development and collaborative initiatives
- Registration: Candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration.
- Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia are essential for this role.
- Safeguarding: Applicants must provide two current referees and complete HARKE’s onboarding process to meet safeguarding requirements.
