HARKE has partnered with a well-established Christian school in Western Sydney to appoint an English and HSIE Teacher for a permanent position commencing Term 1, 2026. About the Position
The role involves teaching English and HSIE across Years 7–12, with flexibility depending on experience and strengths. The successful applicant will contribute to curriculum planning, assessment, and pastoral care, and work closely with colleagues to deliver engaging and purposeful learning experiences.

Skills and Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging English and HSIE programs aligned with NSW curriculum requirements

  • Uphold safeguarding and child protection responsibilities in line with school and legislative expectations

  • Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues

  • Collaborate within teaching teams and contribute to whole-school initiatives

  • Demonstrate professional leadership through reflective practice and contribution to a positive school culture

Requirements
  • NESA accreditation or eligibility to teach in NSW

  • Full working rights in Australia

  • Willingness to support and uphold the Christian ethos of the school

  • Ability to provide referees and complete safeguarding requirements
