About the Position
This full-time, ongoing position involves teaching English from Years 7 to 12 and HASS from Years 7 to 10. The successful teacher will deliver curriculum-aligned, engaging lessons that cater to a diverse range of learners and contribute to the school’s commitment to academic excellence and Christian values. The role is available for a Term 2 or Term 3 start, with an immediate start preferred where possible.


Skills and Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging English lessons for students in Years 7–12 and HASS for Years 7–10

  • Prioritise student welfare and uphold safeguarding policies

  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff

  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement curriculum programs

  • Model Christian values in teaching and relationships with the school community


Requirements

  • Registration: Candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain QLD Teacher Registration

  • Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia are essential for this role

  • Safeguarding: Applicants must provide two current referees and complete HARKE’s onboarding process to meet safeguarding requirements
