About the Role
This full-time, ongoing role involves teaching English and Humanities across Years 7-10 within a collaborative secondary team. Teachers are supported to create engaging learning experiences that foster curiosity, communication, and critical thinking. The successful educator will join a school community that values strong relationships, inclusive education, and continuous improvement.
Skills and Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging English and Humanities lessons aligned with the Victorian Curriculum
- Create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment that promotes student wellbeing
- Differentiate learning to support a range of student abilities and learning needs
- Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to curriculum planning and whole-school initiatives
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff while contributing to co-curricular activities
Requirements
- Current or eligibility for VIT registration
- Full Australian working rights
- Commitment to student wellbeing and professional collaboration
- Two professional referees and completion of HARKE’s safeguarding onboarding
