About the Position
This fixed-term role, covering a Head of Department on long service leave, offers the opportunity to teach a diverse range of Digital Technologies and Computer Science subjects. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and hands-on lessons, catering to students across multiple year levels:
- Year 7-8 Digital Technologies
- Year 9 Design Core (potential for additional lessons)
- Year 11 Applied Computing
- Possible involvement in the Year 9 ‘feel-good’ class, supporting students who find school challenging, with opportunities to increase the FTE load.
This role is ideal for an educator passionate about technology and innovation, with the ability to inspire students in a collaborative and supportive school environment.
Skills and Responsibilities
- Curriculum: Deliver engaging and curriculum-aligned lessons in Digital Technologies and Applied Computing across multiple year levels.
