About the Position
The school is seeking a Domain Leader – Religious Education to commence in Term 1, 2026. This permanent position carries a Position of Leadership Level 2 (PoL 2) and involves leading a team of approximately 10–15 Religious Education teachers.
The successful candidate will provide instructional leadership, support staff in the delivery of an engaging RE curriculum, and uphold the Catholic identity and mission of the school.
Skills and Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of RE teachers across Years 7–12

Oversee curriculum design, assessment, and reporting for Religious Education

Foster the integration of faith and learning across the curriculum

Support staff in delivering engaging and contemporary RE programs

Contribute to liturgical, pastoral, and faith formation activities within the college

Collaborate with the leadership team to promote a culture of excellence and inclusion
Requirements

Registration: Current VIT registration (or eligibility)

Faith: Applicants must be supportive of Catholic values and capable of contributing to the faith life of the school

Qualifications: Relevant tertiary qualifications in Religious Education or Theology preferred

Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia

Safeguarding: Two current referees and completion of HARKE’s safeguarding process
