About the Role
This full-time, 12-month contract position involves leading the school’s approach to diverse learning and inclusive education. The role focuses on coordinating support for students with additional learning needs, including identification, documentation, and implementation of adjustments to improve learning outcomes. Working closely with staff and leadership, the coordinator will drive consistent, evidence-based practices and support teachers to deliver inclusive, high-quality teaching programs across the school.
Skills and Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation of inclusive teaching practices aligned with curriculum requirements
- Oversee student wellbeing and safeguarding processes for students requiring additional support
- Communicate effectively with staff, families, and external professionals regarding student progress
- Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement differentiated learning strategies
- Provide leadership and guidance to staff to strengthen whole-school inclusive education practices
Requirements
- Registration with or eligibility for NESA
- Full Australian work rights
- Two referees and completion of HARKE onboarding for safeguarding
