About the Role
This full-time position includes a two-year POL 4 appointment overseeing Learning and Teaching across the College, supported by 18.5 periods of time release. The Director of Learning and Teaching will lead strategic initiatives that strengthen the school’s learning culture, monitor and evaluate academic outcomes, and support staff in delivering high-quality teaching practice. Once the leadership tenure concludes, the successful candidate will continue in an ongoing teacher position. The role suits an educator with a strong commitment to advancing opportunities and enhancing evidence-informed teaching across the school.
Skills and Responsibilities

Lead whole-school learning and teaching initiatives that improve student progress and achievement

Analyse data to monitor outcomes for individual students, cohorts, and whole-school trends

Support staff through coaching, collaboration, and the implementation of effective pedagogy

Communicate clearly with students, staff, and families to enhance engagement and learning culture
