Salary: $79,589 - $118,063 + $13,019 (POL 4) + 12% super + salary packaging + 17.5% leave loading

About the Position

The college is seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Learning Adjustment to lead the design and implementation of inclusive learning practices across the school. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with legislative and policy requirements, leading the Nationally Consistent Collection of Data (NCCD) processes, and supporting staff to deliver high-quality educational adjustments for students with diverse learning needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategically lead learning adjustment and inclusion initiatives in line with relevant legislation and the College’s Annual Implementation Plan.

  • Ensure full compliance with NCCD, ATSI, and Refugee/New Arrival funding and reporting requirements.

  • Collaborate with Learning Directors and Student Academic Support teams to provide appropriate adjustments for internal and external assessments.

  • Oversee and manage the Learning Adjustment Team, supporting staff performance and professional growth.

  • Lead staff development in differentiation, personalised learning, and inclusive classroom practices.

  • Coordinate assessment and diagnosis processes to identify and support student learning needs.

  • Oversee intervention and enrichment programs such as LEAP, Tutor Learning Initiative (TLI), and Intervention Support Programs (ISP).

  • Use data to inform decision-making, measure impact, and guide continuous improvement in student outcomes.

  • Foster a culture of collaboration and inquiry across teaching teams to enhance inclusive practice and student achievement.

Requirements

  • Current VIT Registration

  • Demonstrated expertise in inclusive education and NCCD compliance

  • Proven leadership experience in supporting diverse learning needs

  • Commitment to the Catholic ethos and values of the College

  • Full working rights in Australia
