HARKE has partnered with a growing Prep–Year 12 Christian school in Melbourne’s south-east, educating approximately 650 students within a supportive and values-driven community. Grounded in the Lutheran tradition, the school is committed to strong academic and pastoral outcomes, positive relationships and supporting the individual needs of students. The school is seeking an experienced educational leader to join its Senior Leadership Team as Director of Individual Differences , commencing in 2027.

Reporting to the Principal via the Heads of School, this position will provide leadership in supporting the needs of a diverse student population across the College. The successful candidate will bring significant leadership experience, strong knowledge of contemporary teaching and assessment approaches, and the ability to support staff in responding effectively to individual student needs.

This is a key senior leadership appointment for an educator who can work collaboratively across Primary and Secondary settings while contributing to the wider strategic and educational direction of the College.

Candidates must demonstrate an active Christian faith , strong alignment with the Lutheran ethos of the school and a demonstrated history of leadership within education.

• Provide senior leadership in supporting diverse student learning needs across the College.

• Promote teaching and assessment approaches that respond effectively to individual differences.

• Uphold student safeguarding, wellbeing and a strong Child Safe culture.

• Build positive and constructive relationships with students, staff, families and the wider community.

• Collaborate with the Principal, Heads of School and broader leadership team to support whole-school priorities and professional practice.
