About the Position

This executive leadership role offers the opportunity to guide the faith life and mission of the College, ensuring the Dominican ethos continues to flourish. Reporting to the Principal, the Director of Faith and Mission will lead prayer, liturgy, and faith formation across the College, oversee the Religious Education curriculum, and foster an inclusive and authentic faith community. The position is ideal for an educational leader passionate about Catholic identity, contemporary faith formation, and inspiring students and staff to live out Gospel values.

Skills and Responsibilities
  • Lead and nurture the College’s Catholic and Dominican ethos through prayer, liturgy, and formation initiatives.

  • Oversee the Religious Education curriculum, ensuring alignment with the College’s mission and strategic plan.

  • Collaborate with the Principal and Leadership Team to promote unity, purpose, and faith across the school community.

  • Provide leadership and professional learning opportunities that enhance staff faith development and accreditation.

  • Represent the College at faith-based networks, events, and external partnerships promoting Catholic identity and mission.

Requirements
  • Registration: Candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration.

  • Qualifications: Postgraduate qualification in Theology or Religious Education highly regarded.

  • Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia are essential for this role.

  • Safeguarding: Applicants must provide two current referees and complete HARKE’s onboarding process to meet safeguarding requirements.
