About the Position
This full-time, ongoing position commencing in Term 3 involves teaching across the Mathematics and Digital Technologies curriculum to secondary students in Years 7–10. The college is open to applicants who specialise in either subject or who can teach both. The successful candidate will deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons and work within a collaborative team to support student success and wellbeing. Teachers with a willingness to contribute to the pastoral and co-curricular life of the college are encouraged to apply.


Relocation Support
To support relocating teachers, the school offers onsite, subsidised accommodation in a self-contained flat for just $150 per week . This provides a convenient and affordable living option for staff, located within walking distance of the school grounds.


Skills and Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver curriculum-aligned Mathematics and Digital Technologies lessons for Years 7–10

  • Ensure the safety, engagement, and wellbeing of students in line with safeguarding standards

  • Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues to support student progress

  • Work collaboratively with department staff to enhance teaching practices and outcomes

  • Participate in the broader school community, including pastoral care and co-curricular involvement


Requirements

  • Registration: Candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) registration

  • Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia are essential for this role

  • Safeguarding: Applicants must provide two current referees and complete HARKE’s onboarding process to meet safeguarding requirements
