About the Position
The school is seeking a dedicated Design & Technology teacher to commence from Term 1, 2026. The successful candidate will deliver engaging, hands-on learning experiences across the secondary years, fostering creativity, problem-solving, and practical skills. This position is ideal for an educator confident in a workshop setting and motivated to build strong relationships with both students and staff.
Skills and Responsibilities
- Curriculum – Plan and deliver curriculum-aligned lessons in Design & Technology
- Safeguarding – Ensure student wellbeing and adhere to Child Safe Standards
- Communication – Build strong relationships with students, staff, and families
- Collaboration – Work closely with colleagues to support whole-school initiatives
- Leadership – Model effective practice and uphold the school’s values in and out of the classroom
Requirements
- Registration: Current QCT registration (or eligibility to obtain)
- Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia
- Safeguarding: Two current referees and completion of HARKE’s safeguarding process
