About the Position
The school is seeking a Dance and PDHPE Teacher to join the secondary team for a full-time 12-month contract commencing Term 4, 2026. The role involves teaching Dance and PDHPE across Years 7-12 and suits an educator who enjoys delivering engaging and practical programs that promote creativity, movement, wellbeing, and active participation among junior secondary students.
Skills and Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging Dance and PDHPE curriculum aligned with syllabus requirements for Years 7-10
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student wellbeing and participation
- Communicate clearly with students, families, and colleagues
- Collaborate within the PDHPE and Performing Arts faculties and broader school teams
- Contribute to lesson planning, assessment, and co-curricular activities where required
Requirements
- Registration with or eligibility for NESA accreditation
- Full Australian working rights
- Two professional referees and completion of HARKE safeguarding onboarding
