About the Position
This opportunity involves a permanent full-time teaching position alongside a 3-year appointment as Creative Arts Faculty Coordinator. The successful educator will lead a collaborative Creative Arts faculty while teaching within their specialist area across the secondary years. The role includes supporting curriculum development, mentoring staff, and contributing to the strategic direction of the faculty and broader school community.

Skills and Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the Creative Arts faculty through collaborative planning and curriculum development
  • Deliver engaging and high-quality Creative Arts lessons across the secondary years
  • Foster a positive faculty culture focused on student engagement and wellbeing
  • Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues
  • Contribute to whole-school initiatives, performances, exhibitions, and co-curricular programs

Requirements

  • Current or eligible NESA accreditation
  • Demonstrated leadership capability within a school setting
  • Full Australian working rights
  • Two professional referees
  • Completion of HARKE safeguarding onboarding requirements
