About the Position

A contract opportunity is available for a Creative Arts Teacher with the ability to teach Art, Digital Media, and Photography from Term 2 through to the end of Term 4, 2026. The successful educator will deliver engaging and creative learning experiences that encourage student expression, technical skill development, and artistic confidence. The role suits a teacher who can maintain strong classroom management while fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment for students from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Skills and Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging Creative Arts curriculum including Art, Digital Media, and Photography
  • Maintain strong behavioural management strategies that support positive classroom culture
  • Build respectful and effective communication with students, families, and colleagues
  • Collaborate positively with staff within a diverse school environment
  • Support student wellbeing and contribute to a respectful and inclusive school culture

Requirements

  • Current NESA registration or ability to obtain
  • Full Australian working rights
  • Experience teaching Creative Arts subjects including Art, Digital Media, and Photography
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding and student wellbeing practices
  • Ability to work respectfully within an Islamic faith-based environment
