About the Position

The Maddingley campus is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Commerce Teacher to join its Secondary team from Term 1, 2026. This is a full-time, ongoing role suited to a confident educator with the ability to engage large cohorts and deliver high-quality curriculum outcomes.

Skills and Responsibilities

  • Deliver Commerce curriculum across Years 7–10, with potential for senior classes based on experience

  • Foster critical thinking and real-world connections through engaging pedagogy

  • Use data-driven assessment to monitor progress and provide timely feedback

  • Work collaboratively within the Commerce and Business faculty

  • Contribute to the school’s respectful, academically rigorous learning culture

Requirements

  • Registration: Candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain VIT registration

  • Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia are essential for this role

  • Safeguarding: Applicants must provide two current referees and complete HARKE’s onboarding process to meet safeguarding requirements
