About the Position
This full-time leadership position, commencing in Term 2, 2025, is responsible for overseeing the school’s internal and external co-curricular programs. The Co-Curricular Coordinator will work closely with students, staff, and the leadership team to promote high-quality participation across sport, cultural activities, and community engagement. The role involves leading program development, supporting staff involvement, coordinating logistics, and fostering student leadership through co-curricular pathways.
Skills and Responsibilities

Oversee timetabling and coordination of inter-school competitions, house challenges, and major events.

Promote student participation in academic, cultural, sporting, and leadership activities.

Supervise coaching staff and ensure compliance with accreditation, training, and risk management.

Collaborate with school leadership on strategic co-curricular development and budget management.

Maintain accurate student participation data and assist in co-curricular reporting and awards.

Organise internal carnivals and coordinate the annual Co-Curricular Awards Evening.

Represent the school with external sporting bodies and facilitate communications with providers and other schools.
Requirements

QCT registration (if a teaching role) or relevant leadership experience in a school setting.

Strong organisational, communication, and leadership skills.

Experience managing co-curricular or extracurricular programs.

Ability to lead staff and foster positive student engagement.

Current Working with Children Check (QLD Blue Card) and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
