About the Role

This full-time, fixed-term position commences in Term 3, 2026 and involves teaching Chemistry across Years 7-12, including VCE Chemistry. Joining a dynamic Science Faculty, the successful teacher will contribute to a rigorous and engaging learning program while supporting strong academic outcomes. Skills and Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Chemistry lessons across Years 7-12, including VCE Chemistry
• Plan, assess, and implement curriculum aligned with VCAA requirements
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
• Collaborate with colleagues within the Science Faculty to support student outcomes
• Communicate effectively with students, families, and staff while contributing to broader school initiatives

Requirements

• Current or eligibility for VIT registration
• Experience teaching senior Chemistry, including VCE Chemistry
• Full Australian working rights
• Two professional referees and completion of HARKE’s safeguarding onboarding
