About the Position
This full-time, ongoing role commences in Term 3 and involves teaching Chemistry to Year 11 and 12 students, alongside Science for Years 7–10. The successful candidate will deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons that support student understanding and achievement across the sciences, with a focus on inquiry-based learning and Christian perspectives in education.
- Deliver high-quality lessons in Chemistry for Years 11–12 and general Science for Years 7–10
- Promote student well-being and actively support the school’s safeguarding and child protection policies
- Build positive, respectful relationships with students, families, and colleagues
- Contribute to collaborative planning and whole-school initiatives
- Uphold the Christian ethos of the school through teaching and staff engagement
Requirements
- Registration: Candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain NESA accreditation
- Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia are essential for this role
- Safeguarding: Applicants must provide two current referees and complete HARKE’s onboarding process to meet safeguarding requirements
- Faith Commitment: Applicants must be practising Christians who can actively support the school’s faith-based mission
