About the School
HARKE has partnered with a well-resourced, faith-based College in Darwin providing education from Early Learning through to Year 12. The College operates across three campuses in Leanyer, Palmerston and Howard Springs, offering supportive school communities, modern facilities, strong pastoral care and a clear focus on both academic achievement and personal growth.
The Howard Springs campus, approximately 30 minutes from Darwin CBD, is home to the College's Middle and Senior School for Years 6–12.
About the Position
The College is seeking an educator with experience across careers, senior pathways, VET and transition planning to support students as they prepare for further education, training and employment.
This opportunity would suit a registered teacher with experience working with senior secondary students and a strong understanding of the different pathways available beyond school.
Skills & Responsibilities

Support Years 10–12 students with career planning, subject selection and post-school pathways.

Provide guidance across university, VET, apprenticeships, traineeships, employment and further training opportunities.

Coordinate relationships with students, families, employers, tertiary providers and external training organisations.

Support senior students with work experience, pathway planning and transition from school.

Work collaboratively with teaching, wellbeing and leadership teams to ensure students receive clear and individualised pathway support.
Requirements
-
Current registration with, or eligibility for, the Teacher Registration Board of the Northern Territory (TRB NT).

Experience across careers education, VET, senior secondary pathways or student transition planning.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with students, families and external stakeholders.

Full Australian working rights.

Two professional referees and completion of HARKE Recruitment's safeguarding and onboarding requirements.
