About the Role
This POL2 position leads Learning Diversity across the Years 7–9 campus, coordinating support for students with disability or additional learning needs. Working alongside the Director of Learning Diversity, the role oversees personalised learning plans, compliance processes, and the implementation of inclusive practice aligned with the Disability Standards for Education (2005). The coordinator will guide a team of learning support officers and collaborate with teachers, leaders, and families to enhance student access, engagement, and progress.
Skills and Responsibilities

Lead the coordination and monitoring of learning programs, PLPs, PSG processes, and adjustments

Provide guidance to teachers on inclusive pedagogy, differentiation, assessment adjustments, and data use

Mentor and manage Learning Diversity staff, including allocation, support, and operational workflows

Oversee processes aligned with the RtI model, NCCD requirements, and relevant regulatory obligations

Work collaboratively with leaders, families, and allied professionals to support transition, wellbeing, and curriculum access
